Up until today, we have offered all of our customers the opportunity to buy an Ampler bike and have it delivered free of charge. Shipping our bikes from Estonia to thousands of customers across Europe comes at a considerable cost, but one we have always been happy to pay ourselves. Last year, the amount we were charged for shipping went up considerably as the cost of fuel skyrocketed.
Our logistics partners pass on fuel costs as a percentage of their shipping rate, and last year it reached a point where it had doubled. We decided at the time that we would wait before making any decisions and continue to offer free shipping – absorbing the additional costs ourselves.
Therefore, we have made the necessary decision that from 13th March 2023, all orders will require payment for shipping. We have done our utmost to keep the costs as low as possible and will continue to do so in the future.
