Bike leasing taps into the so-called company car privilege (also known as the “0.25 % rule”) for bicycles and pedelecs. It’s very simple: Your employer concludes a contract with the leasing company – and you and your colleagues can lease a bike through the company.<br>You pay conveniently in monthly instalments, which are deducted directly from your wages – and thanks to the favourable taxation, you ride at a significantly lower price. For all of our partners, the leasing period is generally 36 months. The regulations for company bike leasing are laid down by official case law – company bike leasing therefore offers the greatest benefit if the contract runs for 36 months as intended. If your personal or professional situation changes, your employer decides what happens to the leasing bike. Please read the leasing contract and arrange a meeting with the contact person in your company. In general, this is not possible once the leasing period has started. When you receive your bike, it’s very important to check it carefully for any defects and faults before activating the leasing contract. With most of our leasing partners, it is only possible to lease Ampler bikes that are new. Refurbished and pre-loved bikes can only be leased with bikeleasing. To qualify for leasing an Ampler e-bike, you must be a resident of Germany and employed by a German company that has agreed a contract with one of our leasing partners (Jobrad, Bikeleasing, Deutsche Dienstrad). As a self employed person, you also qualify for leasing.
