It\u2019s undoubtedly been an eventful year, and with it coming to a close, we wanted to recap some of our highlights. While we\u2019ve not been alone with some of the challenges we have faced, we have never lost sight of our goal: emotive zero-emission commuting for everyone. An Ampler is still a high-quality e-bike that makes getting from A to B fun and sustainable. We\u2019re proud that we have been able to deliver more bikes across Europe throughout 2022 and help forward the mobility movement. Thanks for all the loyalty and support this year! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To the moon!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

There are currently more than 22,000 Ampler e-bikes spread across the continent. Not only that, but our customers have ridden roughly 60 million kilometres in total \u2013 that\u2019s 1,500 trips around the Earth!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Second Generation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Early this year, we launched the Ampler Generation 2. Through a combination of hard work and innovation, we introduced the next evolution of our beloved e-bikes. With new display screens for battery and ride statistics, new frames, new colours and better performance, we marked the next step for Ampler.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our new painting line<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Quality has always been at the forefront of our work, and we wanted even greater control of the frame painting process. We developed our own production painting line inspired by top automotive manufacturers to include powder coat painting techniques. This has the added benefit of being more durable as well as much better looking. Expect even more colours in the future!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We get around<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Ampler is a product that needs to keep moving and move we did. We had 29 appearances across Germany, Switzerland and the Netherlands. It\u2019s not only fun but a vital experience to bring our bikes to some of our favourite places, so anyone interested in an Ampler can try the bike for themselves. Big thanks to our events team, who tirelessly handle the long drives, good vibes and hundreds of free test rides. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Keeping it green<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This year was a big success in building upon our commitment to creating a sustainable business. E-bikes themselves are an important tool in the push toward net zero emissions. They have the potential to replace short journeys for a majority of people that otherwise would consume fossil fuels. We have set up our sustainability page<\/a>, which contains our Life Cycle Analysis<\/a>. This way, we can be transparent to our customers while ensuring we become an even greener company going forward. But this is just the start \u2013 so expect even more from us in 2023!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Have you seen us lately?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

With a good product, the word gets around. We have been featured in over 300 publications across Europe. Many of these included competitive test rides where reviewers often found Ampler to be the e-bike of choice. A particular crowning achievement was our Ampler model Juna winning this year\u2019s city cruiser test of Bike Bild<\/a> magazine, a major publication for any two-wheeled enthusiast. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Onwards and upwards<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Finally, another big thank you to all our customers. We are at the frontier of e-mobility and count every step forward as a major win.
